Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers (domestic and international) across both fibre optics/telecoms and electrical product lines to support pricing and product strategy.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimise cost and lead time.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers, monitoring performance against quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Continuously scan the market — including electrical and telecoms suppliers and manufacturers — for alternative sourcing options that improve margin or reduce supply risk.
- Build and maintain strong technical knowledge of the electrical and telecoms products market, including key suppliers, pricing trends, and product specifications relevant to our customer base.
- Use technical/engineering knowledge to assess product quality, specifications, and supplier capability during sourcing decisions.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of a BSC
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
