Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the end-to-end procurement and supply chain process, from requisition to delivery.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations and support vendor selection.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, pricing and compliance with agreed terms.
- Coordinate the transportation and logistics of materials, equipment and other supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, deliveries and supplier documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent stock-outs.
- Liaise with Engineering, Operations and other departments to understand and fulfil their supply requirements.
- Track outstanding orders and provide regular updates on delivery status.
- Ensure procured items meet required specifications, quality standards and operational requirements.
- Support the management of local and international suppliers.
- Assist with customs, freight forwarding and other logistics requirements where applicable.
- Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and develop strong supplier relationships.
- Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and improve supply-chain efficiency.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prepare periodic procurement and supply-chain reports for management.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- A minimum of an HND in a related field
