Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the supermarket.
- Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitor and manage inventory, stock levels, and product movement.
- Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, and available for customers.
- Monitor sales, expenses, and daily business activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely restocking.
- Minimize stock losses, wastage, and discrepancies.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and courteously.
- Ensure the supermarket is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Prepare basic operational and sales reports for management.
- Take overall responsibility for the smooth running of the supermarket.
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a supermarket, retail store, grocery store, or similar business.
- Strong inventory and stock management skills.
- Good understanding of retail operations and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be well-spoken, courteous, confident, and charismatic.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage staff and coordinate day-to-day operations.
- Ability to take ownership and manage the business as a whole.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Candidates should be residents of Ikoyi, Lagos, and its environs.
