Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and counsel patients on their proper use.
- Provide pharmaceutical care and expert advice to optimize patient health outcomes.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise, train, and manage pharmacy staff to ensure professional service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulatory bodies, and professional standards.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and ethical environment.
- Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacist license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience (supervisory/management experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, dispensing practices, and patient care.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation.
