Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons as planned by the regular teacher, or prepare engaging, age-appropriate lessons when plans are unavailable.
- Maintain a well-structured and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supervise pupils during lessons, transitions, and outdoor activities.
- Record attendance, key observations, and classroom notes for the regular teacher or Phase Supervisor.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure effective classroom management.
- Promote professionalism, teamwork, and positive conduct in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of NCE or Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or related field).
- Prior experience teaching early years or primary learners.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- A dependable, flexible, and passionate educator with a commitment to quality learning.
- Demonstrates warmth, patience, and creativity in supporting children.
