About Melrose Loft
Melrose Loft is a creative content hub for creators and brands; a space for photo and video shoots, brand
activations, and intimate events. We’re evolving and looking for a hands-on Studio Manager & Events
Lead who can ideate, execute, and keep the studio running at its best.
About the Role
You’ll own creative concepts from idea to delivery, manage day-to-day studio operations, and help grow Melrose Loft’s client base and creative partnerships.
The ideal candidate is creative, highly organised, and execution-focused; someone who can turn ideas into experiences, and experiences into repeat business.
Event/Concept Ideation & Execution
- Ideate, develop, and execute concepts for mini-campaigns, creative sprints, and studio activations
- Manage end-to-end event delivery, including pre-event planning, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up
- Manage event timelines, budgets (where applicable), and logistics
- Ensure high-quality, on-brand event experiences
Bookings & Studio Operations
- Manage studio bookings end-to-end, including inquiries, scheduling, confirmations, and payments
- Maintain the booking calendar and manage transitions between sessions
- Deliver a warm, professional experience for every client
- Ensure the studio is clean, set up, and ready for each booking
- Oversee equipment, props, supplies, and conduct damage checks
- Schedule and supervise maintenance of amenities such as AC, furniture, and other facilities
Marketing & Growth
- Run social media (Instagram, minimum three times weekly) and email communications
- Propose and execute targeted outreach to drive repeat bookings and creative collaborations
- Build partnerships with creators, brands, and communities
- Identify opportunities for repeat bookings and collaborations
Admin
- Maintain booking records, invoices, and basic financial documentation
- Prepare periodic reports on bookings and studio performance
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in event management or studio/event operations, including ideation and execution
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and spoken English, with clear communication via email and messaging apps
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Gmail) and basic digital tools
Nice to Have
- Background in creative production, photography, or content creation
- Experience building packages or pricing models
- Familiarity with booking platforms and social media marketing
