We are looking for an Academic Counsellor who enjoys interacting with people, builds trust naturally, pays attention to detail, and can confidently guide students through one of the most important decisions of their lives.

Your Role

As an Academic Counselor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, helping them navigate every stage of their study abroad journey from their first enquiry to securing university admission.

Success in this role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

•
Counsel prospective students and recommend suitable study destinations, universities and programmes in partnership with Vistara

•
Build trust with prospective students and parents through professional and timely communication.

•
Follow up with enquiries and convert qualified leads into enrolled students.

•
Manage multiple student applications while ensuring accuracy and compliance with admission requirements.

•
Review application documents and ensure submissions meet institutional standards.

•
Prepare students for credibility interviews and admission interviews where applicable.

•
Maintain accurate records using Microsoft 365 and internal systems.

•
Prepare reports and provide regular updates on student application progress.

•
Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives where required.

•
Achieve agreed student conversion and service delivery targets.
