Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements.
• Conduct site assessments
• Manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Prepare and present project reports, including progress, financials, and risk management.
• Conduct regular meetings to discuss project development, address issues, and gauge team effectiveness.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and assessments to verify compliance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that encourages innovation and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Structural Engineering
• Possess 10 - 13 years experience in a similar field
• COREN Certification is a must-have.
• PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
• Proven experience as a construction project manager.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Familiarity with construction/ project management/structural engineering software
