We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage the hotel’s storeroom and inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of all hotel supplies, food items, beverages, and equipment. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods/supplies against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Properly store and organize all items in the storeroom to ensure easy access, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records (both manual and digital) of all inventory.
  • Issue requested items to various departments (Kitchen, Housekeeping, Restaurant, Maintenance, etc.) with proper documentation.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations, and report any discrepancies or shortages.
  • Monitor stock levels and raise timely requisitions to avoid stock-outs.
  • Ensure proper labeling, rotation (FIFO), and storage conditions for perishable and non-perishable items.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Track expiry dates and manage the disposal or return of expired/spoiled items.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports as required.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team and suppliers.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in any relevant discipline (Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or related fields preferred).
  • 2 years of proven experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and simple inventory software.
  • High level of honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work early mornings and stay on feet for extended periods.
