Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
As a Store Keeper, you will be expected to perform the following duties
- Receive incoming produce from the runner and verify them against requisition raised and inventory balance.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and handling of perishable items, while applying the first in first out policy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Excel and inventory management software( Odoo).
- Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to identify stock shortages or overages.
- Ensure all product(s)/ produce follows the FIFO, FEFO policy.
- Perform regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy (variances) with the data entry officer.
- Prepare and issue produce for operations, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and support production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding storing and handling goods.
- Keep the stores & storage area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in store management or related field preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move objects as needed.
Work ScheduleÂ
- You will be required to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, and a maximum of 5 (which can fall on Saturday or Sunday) as rotated.
- Payment is made at the end of each month, calculated based on the number of shifts worked. Each shift is pegged at 3500 naira; you will be paid monthly.
