Through our e-learning platform and blended programs, we empower youth, including those with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities, to build meaningful careers and businesses in agribusiness, climate-smart farming, and food systems innovation.
The TagDev–Agrisiti Hybrid Agribusiness Program is a 6-month initiative designed to equip 3,500 youths across 7 Nigerian states (Kano, Niger, Ogun, Enugu, Cross River, Bayelsa, and Rivers) with agribusiness and entrepreneurship skills in rice and aquaculture value chains. The program blends in-person and virtual training, mentorship, and a business showcase, driving both job creation and agribusiness startups.

Role Summary
The State Program Facilitator will lead and coordinate all program implementation activities within their assigned state. This includes managing training logistics, coordinating mentorship sessions, mobilizing and engaging participants, liaising with demo hubs and local partners, and ensuring smooth program delivery to reach 500 youths per state.
The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, passionate about youth development and agriculture, and skilled in project coordination and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities1. Program Coordination & Delivery
- Lead the 3-day physical training at partner demo hubs in your state.
- Coordinate the 12-week virtual learning phase on the Agrisiti platform — ensuring learners stay active, engaged, and supported.
- Support participants in forming and managing project groups (8–10 members each).
- Facilitate monthly town halls, fortnightly expert sessions, and weekly mentoring check-ins.
- Supervise and support Demo Hub Coordinators and volunteers in your state.
- Ensure inclusivity — with active participation of youth with disabilities and marginalized groups.
2. Outreach, Mobilization & Communication
- Work with the Outreach Officer to mobilize and recruit participants through community engagement, institutions, and local media.
- Liaise with local agricultural offices, TVET institutions, and youth organizations to strengthen recruitment and retention.
- Maintain active communication through Telegram, email, and WhatsApp channels with participants and mentors.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Track attendance, engagement, and completion rates weekly.
- Support MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning) processes — including data collection and impact stories.
- Submit weekly progress updates and monthly state reports to the central program team.
- Flag risks, challenges, and opportunities early for prompt resolution.
4. Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as Agrisiti’s liaison with partner farms, TVETs, and local chambers of commerce.
- Coordinate with other partners to connect learners to internship or field experience opportunities.
- Facilitate smooth interactions between participants and agencies like SMEDAN, NIRSAL, and PHCCIMA for business registration and funding access.
5. Event Management
- Coordinate the State-level Pitch Showcase & Career Fair, ensuring logistics, participant readiness, and partner involvement.
- Support in preparing youth for presentations, investor sessions, and documentation.
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Education, Development Studies, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in project coordination, training, or youth development.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and field activities.
- Comfortable with technology — virtual learning platforms, spreadsheets, and online reporting tools.
Preferred
- Experience working with TVETs, youth agripreneurship programs, or donor-funded initiatives.
- Fluency in English and at least one local language of the assigned state.
- Previous experience supporting persons with disabilities or marginalized youth.
