Job summary

We are a fast-growing multi-entity sports platform in Abuja. We oversee a professional sports team, a youth academy program, a women’s league platform, and a sports facility development project. We are in a structured growth phase and require a strong operational backbone to coordinate schedules, workflows, and administrative systems across the ecosystem. We are seeking a highly structured and proactive operations professional to support our expansion phase. The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive, and disciplined, Startup Operations & Scheduling Lead to serve as the central coordination hub across all entities. This role is execution-focused and ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, can manage complexity, and is confident in enforcing operational discipline and is open to women.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Central Scheduling & Coordination (Core Function):

  • Own and maintain master calendars across all entities
  • Coordinate executive schedules, team trainings, league fixtures, travel, camps, and events
  • Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Circulate structured weekly and monthly schedules
  • Ensure scheduling discipline across departments.


Operational Workflow Management:

  • Track operational milestones and timelines
  • Monitor internal deliverables and follow-through
  • Maintain structured reporting rhythms
  • Support leadership with organised operational updates.


Administrative & Vendor Systems:

  • Maintain structured physical and digital filing systems
  • Coordinate vendor engagements and documentation
  • Ensure professional communication standards.


Financial & HR Support (Administrative Level):

  • Track expenses and maintain organised records
  • Support payroll documentation processes
  • Maintain onboarding, attendance, and personnel files.


Requirements:

  • Interested candidates should possess a degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Good leadership skills
