Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Sourcing Manager to oversee all aspects of our sourcing and procurement processes. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Identify potential suppliers and conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess their capabilities, quality standards, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms for the company.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, monitoring key metrics such as on-time delivery, quality, and service levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, collaboration, and mutual benefit.
  • Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams on sourcing projects, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. (Masters in related field – added advantage)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management roles.
  • Proven track record of success in sourcing and negotiating contracts with suppliers, achieving cost savings and quality improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of sourcing best practices, procurement processes, and supply chain management principles.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
