Solar Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
• Design, install, commission, and maintain solar power systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues relating to solar installations, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
• Supervise installation teams and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• A minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4–7 years’ hands-on experience in solar energy systems, inverter installations, battery systems, electrical installations, and renewable energy projects.
• Proven experience in site assessment, system design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems.
• Strong knowledge of solar panels, inverters, lithium batteries, electrical protection systems, and energy management solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Relevant professional certifications and industry training will be an added advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 250,000
