Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Lagos for a Solar Systems Design and Implementation Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing solar power systems, including PV system design and electrical system layouts. Responsibilities include creating system models, conducting on-site assessments, preparing design specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting technical issues will also be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications

• Proficiency in the Solar Industry, with in-depth understanding of solar power and expertise in solar systems technologies.
• Experience in PV Design, including the ability to design and configure photovoltaic systems for optimal performance.
• Strong skills in Electrical Design, including understanding of schematics, electrical safety, and energy systems integration.
• Relevant certifications in solar or electrical engineering are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively in team environments and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work on-site in Lagos with flexibility to adapt to field conditions.
• Proficiency in project management tools and CAD software is beneficial.
