Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Identify electrical faults, component failures, and performance drops in string, micro, and hybrid inverters.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, thermal imaging, and firmware updates to prevent system downtime.
- Field Repairs: Replace damaged internal components (capacitors, fans, fuses, or circuit boards) and repair faulty wiring or connections.
- System Testing: Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and monitoring software to verify voltage, current, and synchronization with the power grid.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of repair history, system configurations, and warranty claims for clients.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Requirement Description
Education Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Experience Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically with solar inverters
Knowledge Strong understanding of DC/AC circuits, power electronics, and battery storage integration.
Safety Proficiency in electrical safety protocols and working with high-voltage systems.
Soft Skills
- Problem-Solving: Ability to isolate issues in complex electrical environments quickly.
- Customer Service: Explaining technical issues to non-technical clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to various site locations and work in outdoor environments.
