Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Layout, assembly, and installation of solar racking, modules, and electrical components (inverters, optimizers, and battery storage).
- Handle AC/DC wiring, conduit bending (EMT/PVC), and connecting systems to the main electrical grid according to code.
- Perform commissioning tests to ensure the system is producing power correctly before leaving the job site.
Requirments:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in solar installation, roofing, or electrical work (preferred but willing to train the right candidate).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, light rain).
- Must be comfortable working on pitched roofs and climbing tall ladders.
- Basic knowledge of power tools (impact drivers, reciprocating saws) and electrical testing tools (multimeters).
