Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and manage the social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok) to build the brand, engage customers, and drive foot traffic and online sales.
- Create high‐quality visual and written content (photos, videos, reels, stories, and captions) aligned with our brand voice in beauty, skincare, and makeup.
- Work closely with marketing, store teams and product teams to highlight new launches, promotions, in-store events, tutorials, customer testimonials
- Monitoranalyze,ze and report on key metrics (engagementreach, andh, conversion) and use insights to optimize content and campaigns.
- Stay up to date on trends in beauty, social media, and the Nigerian & African markets, and propose creative ideas to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Manage community engagement: respond to comments/messages, moderate discussions, and build relationships with ambassadors/influencers.
- Coordinate with external creators/influencers when needed.
- Design and implement a monthly social media content calendar.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, oa relateded field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (2–4 years or more) managing social media & content for a brand (ideally in retail/beauty/fashion).
- Strong portfolio of content creation: social postsvideos, ands, perhaps previous beauty/cosmetics work.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills: photography, video shooting, editing
- Good writing skills for social captions, blog‐typposts, ands, brand tone.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, current trends (especially Reels/TikTok/Shorts), algorithm changes, hashtags, engagement tactics
