The Social Media/Sales Manager is responsible for managing the company’s social media platforms with a strong focus on driving sales.. This role combines content creation, audience engagement, lead nurturing, and sales closing.

Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow the company’s social media pages (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp Business).
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content (posts, stories, reels, captions).
- Maintain a consistent brand tone, style, and messaging across all platforms.
- Monitor page performance and engagement metrics.
DM & Sales Management:
- Respond promptly and professionally to all direct messages, comments, and inquiries.
- Qualify leads and guide prospects through the sales process via DMs.
- Close sales directly through conversations on social media platforms.
- Follow up with potential customers to improve conversion rates.
- Handle objections, answer product/service questions, and upsell where appropriate.
- Redirect confirmed orders or payments to the appropriate internal team or system.
Customer Relationship & Community Engagement:
- Maintain a positive brand reputation by providing an excellent customer experience.
- Handle complaints or concerns calmly and escalate when necessary.
- Engage followers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Reporting & Collaboration:
- Track daily and weekly DM inquiries, leads, and closed sales.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, conversion rates, and audience feedback.
- Work closely with marketing, logistics, or customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience managing social media pages for a business.
- Demonstrated experience closing sales via social media DMs is a strong advantage.
- Excellent written communication and persuasion skills.
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to close deals.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Ability to multitask and manage high volumes of messages.
- Customer-focused, patient, and professional.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Must reside in or around Ikeja
