To drive Mkobo’s brand awareness, user acquisition, and customer engagement through strategic social media and content marketing initiatives. The role focuses on leveraging digital channels to promote the Mkobo app (e.g., savings, loans, payments) and microfinance services, directly supporting customer growth and retention goals.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and distribute platform-specific content (videos, carousels, stories) highlighting Mkobo’s app features, financial literacy tips, and customer success stories.
- Collaborate with product teams to align content with app updates (e.g., new loan products, security features).
- Manage Mkobo’s social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Telegram) with a focus on user engagement and community building.
- Run targeted campaigns to drive app downloads, registrations, and in-app actions (e.g., deposit, savings, fund transfers, loan applications).
- Track KPIs (follower growth, engagement, conversions) and report weekly.
- Optimize content using SEO/SEM best practices and A/B testing.
- Engage users/followers via comments, DMs, and live sessions; address queries about Mkobo’s services.
- Partner with influencers and financial advocates to expand reach.
- Monitor fintech/social trends and competitor strategies to inform Mkobo’s campaigns.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSC
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
