Job summary
A growing travel and tourism company in Lagos is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead its digital presence and drive client acquisition through online channels. This role covers content strategy, social media management, paid digital advertising, and basic content production.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Create and post engaging content (captions, stories, carousels) aligned with the brand's luxury travel positioning.
- Produce basic graphic designs and short-form video content (reels, stories) using tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar.
- Plan, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads).
- Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, lead generation).
- Optimise content and campaigns based on data and insights.
- Manage SEO strategy and hashtag optimisation to increase organic visibility.
- Manage community engagement — responding to comments, DMs, and building audience interaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in social media management (non-negotiable).
- Proven experience running paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads).
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar).
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance optimisation.
- Experience with scheduling and management tools (Meta Business Suite, MailChimp, or similar).
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and digital marketing best practices.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating results and engagement metrics.
- Experience in the travel, hospitality, or luxury lifestyle space is an advantage.
