Social Media Manager
Job summary
MNIKS Purple is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Manager to grow our fashion brand’s online presence through engaging content, community interaction, and digital tools. This hybrid role, based in Surulere, Lagos, involves content creation, social media analytics, marketing support, and coordinating virtual and onsite events.

Responsibilities:
- Create and publish visually stunning content (posts, stories, reels, videos, blogs, newsletters) using tools like Canva, CapCut, and AI-powered platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva Magic Studio, etc.)
- Develop engaging captions and short-form videos that reflect the MNIKS brand aesthetic
- Manage community interactions: respond to comments, DMs, inquiries, and support online sales
- Plan and execute content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and newsletters
- Analyse performance metrics, generate reports, and optimise strategies using data and AI insights
- Research market trends, competitors, and customer preferences
- Collaborate on business growth opportunities, proposals, presentations, photoshoots, and marketing campaigns
- Provide administrative support using automation tools (Notion AI, Zapier, Google Workspace, schedulers)
- Occasionally assist with onsite activities (e.g., photoshoots, pop-ups, organising workspace, giving style feedback)
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency across major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, X, Newsletters, Blogposts)
- Excellent design and content creation skills with tools like Canva, CapCut, and AI content generators
- Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills
- Solid computer literacy (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.) and digital fluency
- Experience with workflow automation and social media scheduling tools
- Highly organised, creative, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for fashion, storytelling, and community building
- Ability to commute easily to Surulere, Lagos
Nice to Have:
- Background in fashion (styling, photography, retail, blogging, etc.)
- Experience in customer service, copywriting, e-commerce, or digital marketing

Remuneration: NGN 70,000 - 100,000
