Social Media Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Manager to join our fully remote team. This pivotal role is responsible for the end-to-end management of our clients' social media presence, from strategic development and content planning to execution, engagement, and performance analysis.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across all relevant platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) to meet client objectives and KPIs.
- Content Management: Create and maintain a detailed content calendar, ensuring a consistent and timely flow of high-quality, engaging content.
- Creative Team Oversight: Act as the central hub for content creation, providing clear direction and feedback to the Content Writer, Creative Designer, and Video Editor to ensure all assets align perfectly with the established strategy and calendar.
- Community Engagement: Manage day-to-day social media activities, including posting, scheduling, monitoring conversations, making timely comments, and actively building engagement and followers.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Create and present a detailed monthly report for all managed accounts, analyzing key metrics, identifying emerging trends, and providing meaningful, actionable conclusions to inform future strategy.
- Trend Analysis: Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge and effective.
- Agency Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience managing social media for multiple brands, with a significant portion of that time spent working within a media or marketing agency environment.
- National Service Requirement: Must have successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program (or equivalent national service requirement).
- Strategic & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into social media objectives and use data to drive decision-making.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively oversee and coordinate a team of creative specialists (writers, designers, editors).
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
