Social Media Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead our brand’s digital storytelling across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be deeply passionate about fashion, culture, and community, with a strong understanding of content creation, engagement strategies, and data-driven growth.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Plan and manage the monthly content calendar aligned with product launches, campaigns, and brand moments.
- Create, edit, and schedule engaging posts including reels, carousels, stories, and written captions using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Monitor trends and leverage them in content that stays true to the Wana Sambo brand voice.
- Respond to DMs, comments, and mentions promptly to maintain strong community engagement.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, brand team, and photographers to source and create high-quality visual and video content.
- Track, analyse, and report on content performance and social growth using insights from Meta Business Suite and native platform analytics.
- Manage collaborations with influencers and brand ambassadors.
- Support campaign execution, from concept to content rollout and reporting.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of proven experience as a social media manager, preferably in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or creative industries.
- Strong copywriting skills and an eye for visual storytelling.
- Experience using social media tools (Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Confident on camera and/or able to direct content for the camera.
- Ability to multitask and meet content deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and other major platforms.
- Bonus: basic knowledge of email marketing or paid ads.
