The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, promote event services, and drive client engagement. The role involves creating engaging content, managing online communities, and showcasing the event center’s offerings to attract bookings and partnerships.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a social media content plan aligned with the company’s marketing goals
  • Create and post engaging content (images, videos, reels, captions) across all social media platforms
  • Manage and grow the company’s social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
  • Respond promptly to messages, comments, and inquiries from clients
  • Promote events, packages, and special offers to drive bookings
  • Capture and share live event content (behind-the-scenes, highlights, client experiences)
  • Collaborate with the styling and operations team to ensure content reflects current projects
  • Monitor social media trends and apply relevant strategies to improve engagement
  • Track and report on performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions)
  • Maintain brand consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging


Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Communications, or any related field
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts (personal brand or business)
  • Strong knowledge of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and WhatsApp Business
  • Basic content creation skills (photography, video recording, and editing)
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or similar applications
  • Good writing and communication skills for captions and client interactions
  • Ability to respond to messages and inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to attend and cover events (including weekends when required)
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking is an added advantage

Remuneration: NGN 120,000
