Social Media Manager

Beguile is a modern fragrance brand and we're looking for someone who genuinely lives on social. Basically, the person who makes people fall in love with the brand in the feed and the comments. If you're chronically online, feel trends before they peak and get a thrill out of a reply that goes off, this is for you.

You'll own how Beguile shows up and connects every day. Our content team makes the content while you make it land through posting, engaging, and building a community of customers and creators that fuels the brand.

What you'll do

• Own our social channels day to day through posting content created by our content team and keeping a consistent, on-brand presence.
• Grow us on TikTok and Instagram, treating each as its own platform with its own rules, rather than cross-posting the same thing.
• Live in the comments, DMs, tags, and mentions by replying fast, with wit and personality that makes people love the brand.
• Build and run our creator community by recruiting members, keeping them engaged and turning the content they create into a steady pipeline for social and ads
• Jump on trends, sounds, and cultural moments quickly and always be ready to repost and react.
• Build and nurture our community, turning followers into a loyal, engaged base.
• Collaborate with the content team on content ideation, feeding platform and audience insight into what gets made.
• Figure out how to sell fragrance through a screen by making people feel a scent through content and conversation.
• Use insights and performance metrics as feedback to sharpen what we post and how we grow

What we're looking for

• Taste. A strong, refined eye for what looks and feels premium. This matters enormously to us. You should instinctively know what's on-brand for a modern fragrance house and what cheapens it.
• Proven experience growing brands on TikTok and Instagram with real results you can show.
• Experience in the beauty, fragrance, or fashion industry.
• Sharp, witty writing that carries a brand voice in a comment or a caption.
• You can spot opportunities and act on them without being told; you want autonomy and not a task list.
• A community builder who understands engagement is a relationship and not a metric
• Someone always hungry to learn and level up their craft.

Bonus points

• Existing knowledge of or passion for fragrance
• Familiarity with creator/influencer coordination and analytics tools.

NOTE: Work is fully remote but candidate must reside in Lagos.
