Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Content Creator role based in Abuja. The Social Media Content Creator will plan, create, and publish engaging content across social media platforms to promote the company’s travel and study-abroad services. Daily tasks include researching travel trends, writing captions and short-form copy, designing or coordinating visuals, and scheduling posts using social media management tools. The role involves monitoring comments and messages, engaging with the online community, and escalating customer inquiries to the appropriate internal teams. The Social Media Content Creator will also track performance metrics, support campaign development with the marketing team, and suggest new content ideas that align with brand guidelines and business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong content creation skills, including copywriting for social media, basic graphic design, and familiarity with short-form video formats (e.g., Reels, Stories, TikTok-style content).
- Hands-on experience managing brand pages on major social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn).
- Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and use insights to refine content and posting strategies.
- Good understanding of digital marketing concepts, including brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to detail and consistent brand tone.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and a proactive mindset, with the ability to generate fresh ideas tailored to travel and study-abroad audiences.
- Previous experience in social media, marketing, or content creation; experience in the travel or education sector is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred but equivalent practical experience will be considered.
