We are looking to hire a creative, reliable Social Media Content Creator to turn raw food photos and videos into engaging, high-quality content for Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp. The business owner handles cooking and can provide photos and short videos of meals. Your job is to create content from those materials—graphics, captions, reels, stories, and simple ads—so the brand gains reach, visibility, and a consistent online presence. This role is content creation–focused

Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Design engaging posts, stories, and reels using provided food photos and videos
- Create Canva-based graphics aligned with the Chikky’s Cuisine brand
- Edit short-form videos (reels) suitable for Instagram and Threads
- Repurpose content across Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp
Copy & Captions:
- Write clear, appetizing captions that sell the food without sounding forced
- Create simple promotional copy for offers, menus, and adverts
- Use appropriate hashtags and CTAs to improve reach
Content Planning:
- Create a simple weekly or bi-weekly content plan
- Advise on what type of photos/videos to capture for better content results
- Ensure consistency in posting style and tone
Platforms Covered:
- Instagram (posts, stories, reels)
- Threads
- WhatsApp (status content, promo flyers)
Requirements:
- Proven experience creating content for food brands, restaurants, or catering businesses
- Strong Canva skills (non-negotiable)
- Good video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar)
- Good understanding of Instagram and Threads content formats
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong visual sense (food must look appealing, not cluttered)
Nice to Have:
- Experience running food ads or promotions
- Understanding of Nigerian food audience and buying behavior
- Ability to suggest content ideas that drive orders, not just likes
Work Arrangement:
