Social Media Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Plan and create engaging social media content, including short videos, product photos, captions, and simple graphics.
• Develop weekly content plans in line with the company’s products, promotions and brand direction.
• Publish content consistently across the company’s social media platforms.
• Monitor social media pages and respond professionally to comments, messages and product enquiries.
• Identify relevant trends, content ideas and opportunities suitable for the brand.
• Assist with organising and executing content shoots, product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain an organised library of product images, videos and other content assets.
• Track basic social media performance and prepare simple weekly updates on content published, audience engagement, customer feedback and pending tasks.
• Provide administrative support, including following up on customer enquiries, deliveries and assigned business activities when required.
• Work closely with the founder and other support staff to ensure content and promotional activities are completed on time.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing or a similar role.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to create clear, engaging captions.
• Comfortable creating quality content with a smartphone.
• Working knowledge of Canva, CapCut and major social media platforms.
• A good eye for visual presentation, trends and brand consistency.
• Good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Comfortable responding professionally to online customer enquiries.
• An interest in beauty, hair, fashion or lifestyle products is an advantage.
