Social Media and Outreach Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing our social media accounts 
• Help plan and publish content according to the content calendar
• Support content creation, including captions, graphics, and short-form videos
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions, escalating issues when needed
• Assist with outreach campaigns and events to attract customers and drivers, online and in person
• Help build relationships with community groups, partners, and influencers
• Compile weekly or monthly performance reports (reach, engagement, sign-ups)
• Follow brand guidelines and support the team with other marketing tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Currently serving or about to begin NYSC service 
• Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent
• Good written communication and creative skills
• Working knowledge of major social media platforms
• Basic content creation skills using tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar
• Must own a laptop with reliable internet access
• Friendly, confident communicator who is comfortable engaging with the public
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and accept feedback

Nice to Have:

• Experience managing social media pages (personal, school, or volunteer projects count)
• Internship or experience in marketing, community management, or PR
• Basic photo, video, or graphic design skills
• Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools 
• Familiarity with the transport, logistics, or ride-hailing industry
