Site Store Keeper

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all materials, updating inventory databases, and performing regular stock counts to identify discrepancies. 
• Receiving and Issuing Materials: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, ensuring they are of the correct type, quantity, and quality. Issue materials to authorized personnel based on requisitions and document all transactions. 
• Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, initiate reordering to prevent shortages, and ensure materials are stored properly to prevent damage or loss. 
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records, reconcile physical stock with system records, and generate reports on inventory status and material flow for management. 
• Store Maintenance: Ensure the store area is kept clean, organized, and secure at all times, maintaining safety and order. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with site managers, engineers, and other departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability. 

Requirements:

• A minimum of an OND in Business Management, Banking & Finance, or Accounting.
• 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Must be willing and capable of working on a building construction site.
• Must reside in Enugu.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail are crucial for accurate record-keeping. 
• Ability to resolve issues within the area of specialization with minimal supervision. 
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and systems will be an added advantage.
