Job summary

The Site Officer is responsible for supervising and coordinating site operations to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards. The role involves monitoring daily site activities, managing workers and vendors, ensuring compliance with project timelines, and providing regular progress reports to management.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor daily activities on project sites.
  • Ensure work is carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate site workers, contractors, artisans, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor project progress and quality of work.
  • Prepare and submit site progress reports, updates, and documentation.
  • Ensure availability and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment on site.
  • Identify and report operational challenges, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with management, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding project updates.
  • Support the successful delivery of projects within timelines and budgets.
  • Perform other site-related duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, Construction Management, or any related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Officer, Site Supervisor, or related role.
  • Experience in the real estate industry is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of site operations, construction processes, and safety procedures.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
