Job Title: Contract Site Manager

Location: On-Site / Hybrid

Contract Type: Call-Out / Fixed-Term Contract

Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager


The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring that construction and interior fit-out projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills to manage teams, subcontractors, and site activities effectively.


Contract Details:


This is a fixed-term, call-out position.


The initial contract starts at a duration of 3 months.


The contract is renewable based on project duration and individual performance.


Engagement will be on an as-needed (call-out) basis, depending on project requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all on-site construction and fit-out activities from start to completion.


Ensure all works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.


Coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and artisans to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.


Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.


Monitor project costs on-site and ensure efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment.


Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.


Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to track performance and resolve issues.


Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for project managers, clients, and stakeholders.


Proactively identify risks, delays, or challenges and implement corrective actions.


Ensure proper documentation of site activities, including reports, site logs, and handover documentation.


Drive quality control processes to minimize defects and rework.


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, or a related field.


Minimum of 4–10 years’ experience in site management within construction or interior fit-out projects.


Strong understanding of construction processes, interior finishing, and MEP coordination.


Proven experience managing teams, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders on-site.


Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office (AutoCAD or similar tools is an added advantage).


Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.


Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.


Success Metrics:

Delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budget.


Minimal rework (less than 5%) due to quality or execution issues.


Full compliance with HSE and quality standards across all site activities.


Efficient coordination of teams leading to smooth project execution.


Timely and accurate reporting of site progress and documentation.


Positive feedback from project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
