Site Engineer
Job summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety standards. The role acts as the technical link between the project office and site operations.

- Supervise day-to-day site construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Set out works and verify levels, alignment, and dimensions on site.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor work progress and report site activities to the project manager.
- Ensure materials, workmanship, and activities comply with quality standards.
- Review shop drawings and method statements before execution.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and site challenges promptly.
- Ensure compliance with HSE rules and company safety policies.
- Maintain site records, daily reports, and as-built documentation.
- Support inspections, testing, and handover activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3–7 years experience as a Site Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with site safety regulations and quality procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software.
- Professional certification or COREN registration is an advantage.
