Responsibilities:
- The Site Engineer (Mechanical) will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical engineering activities at project sites to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
- The role involves overseeing mechanical installations such as piping systems, equipment installation, structural components, and mechanical utilities, while ensuring quality control and compliance with relevant standards.
- The successful candidate will monitor site progress, coordinate technicians and subcontractors, resolve technical issues, and support testing and commissioning activities.
- Responsibilities also include interpreting mechanical drawings, preparing site reports, tracking material usage, and identifying potential risks or delays with appropriate corrective actions.
- The role requires close collaboration with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5–7 years of relevant site experience in engineering, construction, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation processes, and technical drawing interpretation is essential.
- Applicants should demonstrate a good understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, along with strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation, is required.
