Electrical Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all electrical installations and works are executed according to approved designs and technical specifications
• Maintaining high quality and efficiency of all electrical installations 

Requirements:

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. Membership of a relevant professional body or possession of additional technical certifications will be an added advantage.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 5–7 years of practical experience in electrical engineering site supervision within engineering, construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, or industrial project environments.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical installation practices, power distribution systems, control systems, cable routing, testing, and commissioning processes.
• The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications is essential.
• Candidates should also have a good understanding of applicable electrical standards, regulations, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• The role requires proficiency in site coordination, contractor supervision, and project execution, with the ability to manage multiple activities while meeting deadlines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical challenges efficiently are critical.
• Candidates should be proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and reporting tools, with the ability to prepare accurate site reports and documentation.
• The successful candidate must demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational ability, and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently, lead teams when required, and perform effectively under pressure in dynamic site environments is essential.
