Job summary
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Shop Floor Assistant to join our retail team in Victoria Island. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the sales floor, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers on the shop floor and guide them to products.
- Arrange and restock products on shelves and ensure proper display and labeling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store environment.
- Support sales activities and help achieve daily sales targets.
- Assist with stock counting, inventory checks, and receiving new stock.
- Handle basic customer inquiries and escalate issues to the supervisor when needed.
- Ensure adherence to store policies and excellent customer service standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in retail, sales assistant, or customer service role is an advantage but not compulsory.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Neat appearance, friendly attitude, and willingness to work on your feet.
- Basic numeracy and ability to use POS or assist with sales transactions.
- Must be punctual, honest, and reliable.
- Must reside around Victoria Island, Lekki, or other areas accessible to VI.
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 monthly
