Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required for the Job:
Minimum of Bsc/HND in Food Science and Technologist, Science Laboratory Technology, Chemical Engineering and any other related courses,
5 years relevant (two years in supervisory roles) working experience of shift management in the manufacturing setting in FMCG industry.
Knowledge in HACCP/GMP, Vast knowledge Microsoft suits, intranet, google sheet, and general computer appreciation.
Experience on Tubular heat exchanger/Pasteurizer.
Proven HR management skills, experience, knowledge, ability and attitude
Mission and Long-Term Goal: To manage unified production system that promote excellence in food safety, quality and quantity productivity, cost management in accordance with the company’s budget and time lines.
Short-Term Goal: To work with the line manager, the General Manager Processing, and other team members to set up production shift schedule, processes and procedures (SOP), and drive factory setup, so that Tomato Jos can commission the facility in March 2021 and conduct a commercial production run in same month.
Take full authority on the daily factory operations within the guide lines defined by the GM.
Responsible for the administration of the entire production department.
To continuously improve the performance of the production department by way of reduction of production expenses.
To plan for the various materials requirement based on the anticipated and planned production.
To control the cost of production at the lowest possible by optimization of the consumption of various resources used.
To ensure effective co-ordination with all the sections of the department, for effective operation.
To ensure calibration of all the measuring and weighing equipment under direct control of the production department are carried out regularly.
Plan work rotation, assign tasks appropriately and appraise direct reports results.

Prior experience with automated consumer packaging machine operations
Prior experience with tomato processing, edible oils, sugar or starch production, or other food production requiring evaporation and tubular heat exchange
Fluency in Hausa

Remuneration: Salary is commensurate to experience within the range of industry standards. A communication allowance, pension and health insurance are included, and an annual performance-based bonus may be awarded at the discretion of the executive management team. Please note that adequate security is provided to the whole Tomato Jos team.
Salary: (₦50,000 – ₦200,000)
