Job summary
We are looking to hire a high-performing and strategic Senior Sales Officer to lead revenue growth initiatives, drive high-value client acquisition, and strengthen the company’s market position. The role requires an experienced sales professional with a strong background in financial services, capable of mentoring Junior Sales Officers.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales & Business Growth:
- Develop and execute advanced sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and portfolio growth targets.
- Identify and pursue high-value business opportunities, including corporate and high-net-worth clients.
- Drive market penetration and expand the company’s footprint across target sectors.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Build, manage, and deepen relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Provide bespoke financial solutions aligned with client needs, including lending and investment products.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
Leadership & Team Support:
- Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job support to Sales Officers and junior team members.
- Lead by example in achieving sales targets and maintaining professional standards.
- Support the Head of Sales in driving team performance and productivity.
Sales Execution & Deal Closure:
- Lead complex sales negotiations and close high-value transactions.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with credit policies.
- Collaborate with credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline analyses for management review.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product development and service enhancement.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all transactions meet audit and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or professional certification is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ progressive sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior sales role within financial services, fintech, or banking.
- Demonstrated success in managing high-value accounts and closing complex deals.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, credit risk assessment, and lending processes.
