Role Description This full-time Senior Sales Advisor / Sales Advisor role is based in Lagos in a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site engagements with some work-from-home flexibility. The role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities across the company’s insurance and financial products, including prospecting, lead generation, and conversion. The Senior Sales Advisor / Sales Advisor will conduct client meetings, assess customer needs, present suitable products, and provide ongoing policy advisory and after-sales support. Daily activities include managing a sales pipeline, maintaining accurate records in line with company procedures, preparing proposals, and achieving individual and team sales targets. The role also involves delivering a high standard of customer service, collaborating with internal teams, participating in sales trainings, and staying current on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Effective communication skills for presenting solutions, negotiating, and explaining products clearly to diverse customers.
- Proven customer service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, follow-up, and client satisfaction.
- Demonstrated sales experience, including prospecting, pipeline management, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training team members or junior colleagues is an advantage, especially for Senior Sales Advisor roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are an added advantage.
- Prior experience in insurance, pensions, or financial services sales in Nigeria is highly beneficial.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a team in a hybrid work environment.
