Role Overview

The Senior Sales Account Executive will be responsible for driving the adoption of Edves’ solutions across schools in Lagos through strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and strong stakeholder engagement.

This role requires a structured and high-performing sales professional with 3–6 years of experience who can manage the full sales cycle, engage decision-makers, and consistently meet revenue targets.


We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in structured environments such as edutech, SaaS, or corporate organizations, and understand performance accountability, pipeline management, and disciplined sales execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire private schools and educational institutions across Lagos
  • Lead high-quality product demonstrations and presentations to school owners, administrators, and key decision-makers
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and grow revenue
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strong and predictable sales pipeline
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Engage in consultative selling by clearly articulating how Edves solves operational and academic challenges for schools
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships to drive renewals, retention, and upsell opportunities
  • Provide market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer needs within the education sector
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities using CRM tools
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to improve conversion rates and ensure seamless onboarding
  • Mentor or support junior sales team members where necessary and contribute to improving sales processes


Minimum Requirements

  • 3–6 years of proven experience in B2B sales (edutech, SaaS, or technology sales preferred)
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience working in a structured or corporate environment with clear KPIs and reporting lines
  • Strong prospecting, cold calling, and closing skills
  • Ability to manage mid-to-long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and digital sales platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Based in Lagos with good knowledge of the local education market
  • Available to resume within 2 weeks
