Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job summary
Leads measurement, cost planning, bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation, interim valuations, and subcontractor payment certifications. The Snr Quantity Surveyor produces and manages the financial measurement and valuation framework for the entire project, ensuring that every amount spent is measured, agreed, and recovered correctly.

Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain the project cost plan from initial estimates through to the final account
- Prepare and agree monthly interim valuations with the client's representative; submit payment applications on schedule
- Prepare subcontract tender packages in coordination with the Commercial Manager; evaluate tenders and produce appointment recommendations
- Manage the bill of quantities; measure all variations against the agreed schedule of rates or fair market value
- Prepare and agree subcontractor interim payments every month
- Maintain the variation register; produce variation accounts for agreement with the client
- Produce cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow projections for the Commercial Manager
- Manage and supervise the Site Quantity Surveyor
- Support the Commercial Manager in the final account process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying; NIQS or RICS membership
- Minimum 10 years of quantity surveying experience with demonstrated experience on major residential or mixed-use construction projects in Nigeria
