Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Oversee sourcing, purchasing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain reliable supplier relationships.
- Monitor market prices, procurement budgets, and supplier performance.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement procurement policies, procedures, and compliance controls.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage procurement risks.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to meet business needs.
- Supervise and guide the procurement team.
- Prepare procurement reports, spending analysis, and performance reviews.
Requirements:
- HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience, including experience in a senior or managerial role.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, cost reduction, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical, leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement or ERP systems.
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an added advantage.
Location: Oshodi, Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 300,000 – 400,000 monthly
