We are seeking an accomplished Senior Management Consultant with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in management consulting, including proven leadership at senior levels. This is a client-facing role responsible for leading consulting teams, managing major projects, driving business development, and designing product and service offerings that strengthen ALP‑PSL’s market position.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a senior client-facing advisor, leading executive-level interactions.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships to ensure repeat engagement.
  • Understand client needs and translate them into actionable solutions and offerings.
  • Ensure client deliverables meet the highest professional standards.


Product & Service Offering Development

  • Lead and contributing to the development of PSL service lines, and methodologies.
  • Translate client pain points into scalable, market-ready solutions.
  • Refine offerings based on market trends, competitor analysis, and client feedback


Business Development & Market Growth

  • Originate new business opportunities through networking, proposals, and industry engagement.
  • Lead proposal development and pitch processes.
  • Support the firm’s growth strategy through market insights and strategic positioning.
  • Grow key client accounts.
  • Contribute to service innovation by identifying new sales opportunities and service improvements.
  • Champion the PSL brand at industry events, conferences, and professional forums


Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and manage consulting teams to deliver high-quality results, ensuring consistent professional growth.
  • Reviews and give feedback on Associates’ work, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and professional quality.
  • Act as a quality control point for deliverables prepared by junior colleagues.
  • Support team capability development through mentorship and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to recruitment, training, and talent retention initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.


Project & Engagement Delivery

  • Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of multiple consulting engagements.
  • Manage scope, timelines, quality, risks, and project budgets.
  • Ensure every engagement meets or exceeds client expectations.


Strategic & Thought Leadership

  • Act as a thought leader by creating and sharing insights on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of PSL’s strategic plan and the wider firm’s objectives.
  • Support the Partner in shaping PSL’s positioning as a trusted professional services provider across Africa.
  • Uphold the firm’s risk, compliance, and quality standards, embedding them across engagements.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required MBA is an advantage

Professional Certification: Professional certifications are required.


Experience:

  • At least 10 years’ management consulting experience, with 3–5 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Strong client-facing experience and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in product development or service design.
  • Proven track record in business development and revenue generation.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Nigerian business environment.

  • Integrity & Professionalism: An unwavering commitment to ethical conduct and the highest standards of the profession.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
