Senior Loan Officer
Job summary
The Senior Loan Officer will lead loan origination and portfolio growth across personal and corporate segments, drive revenue targets, and support credit quality. The role requires strong leadership, advanced credit skills, and the ability to close high-value transactions while promoting investment products.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the sourcing, structuring, and closing of personal and corporate loan transactions
- Achieve and exceed monthly loan booking targets (minimum benchmark: 10+ loans)
- Drive high-value and complex loan deals, including SME and corporate financing
- Conduct detailed credit analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessment
- Review and refine loan proposals in line with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Build and manage a strong portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, SMEs, and corporates
- Mentor and support junior loan officers to improve performance and productivity
- Drive cross-selling of secondary investment products to clients
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure retention, repeat business, and referrals
- Monitor loan portfolio performance, ensuring quality and timely repayments
- Provide strategic input into lending processes, risk management, and product development
- Prepare and present detailed performance and portfolio reports to management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in lending, credit, or financial services
- Proven track record in loan origination, deal structuring, and target achievement
- Strong experience in SME and corporate lending
- Solid understanding of credit risk analysis and financial statement interpretation
- Experience with investment products and advisory is an added advantage
- Strong leadership and team mentoring ability
- Advanced credit analysis and risk assessment skills
- Excellent negotiation and deal-closing capability
- Strong business development and client acquisition skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
