Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ikeja for a Senior Litigation Counsel at CHAMAN LAW FIRM. The role involves managing litigation cases, representing clients in courts, providing expert legal advice, and negotiating settlements. Additional responsibilities include assessing legal issues, drafting legal documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws. The Senior Litigation Counsel will work closely with the team to deliver exceptional legal solutions and uphold the firm’s values of client care and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Law and Legal Issues
• Experience in providing expert Legal Advice and working with Courts
• Strong Negotiation skills to effectively represent clients and resolve disputes
• Proven track record in litigation across different practice areas, particularly real estate, commercial law, and dispute resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
• Licensed to practice law in Nigeria with substantial experience in litigation
• An advanced degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); LLM is an added advantage
