Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Guide technical design and development process, ensuring adherence to best practices and engineering excellence.
  • Quality Assurance: Elevate the team's quality engineering practices, identifying and addressing challenges to refine processes and tools.
  • Problem Solving: Tackle recurring challenges in delivery practices by enhancing skills, processes, or tooling, thereby preventing future issues.
  • Innovation and Growth: Continuously update and share your knowledge of the latest development technologies and practices, contributing to the evolution of Bullet’s software applications.
  • Agile and Delivery Excellence: Act as an agile advocate, mentoring and developing team members in agile and delivery practices to foster a consistent and efficient approach to work.


Requirements:

  • Proficient in our core technologies: Java, React, MySQL, and AWS.
  • Specialized expertise in your domain with a willingness to explore new languages and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in making strategic code design decisions and auditing codebases to uphold security, testability, and maintainability standard
  • Proven ability in leading application design discussions and scaling product implementations.
  • Commitment to maintaining and enhancing engineering standards across the team’s products.
  • Experience in managing discussions on new standards and updating existing ones.
  • Capability to serve as an incident coordinator during production issues.
