Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise inspection activities for instrumentation and control systems.
- Inspect installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments and control equipment.
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, datasheets, and applicable codes and standards.
- Review and approve inspection reports, calibration records, loop test results, and as-built documentation.
- Develop and implement inspection plans, procedures, and checklists.
- Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed.
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior inspectors and engineers.
- Participate in audits, quality reviews, and asset integrity programs.
- Ensure all inspection activities comply with HSE and quality management system requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in instrumentation and control inspection or engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and field devices.
- In-depth understanding of applicable codes and standards (IEC, ISA, ISO, API, project specifications).
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control logic.
- Experience with FAT, SAT, loop checking, and commissioning support.
- Strong reporting, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications (ISA, CompEx, API, ISO 9001) are a strong advantage
