Responsibilities:
- Interpret official immigration and visa requirements
- Review visa-route eligibility
- Review complex cases
- Review previous refusals
- Review immigration-history issues
- Review sponsorship concerns
- Review difficult financial/document issues
- Identify mandatory and discretionary requirements
- Review exceptions/exemptions
- Validate immigration rules used internally
- Conduct senior human review
- Handle escalated/high-risk cases
- Support internal compliance
- Work with the technology team on immigration-rule requirements
- Review cases requiring senior judgment
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
Preferred Experience:
- Immigration law/compliance
- Senior visa operations
- International mobility
- Immigration advisory
- International education compliance
- Consular/VAC/embassy-related operational experience where legitimately available
- Legal/policy experience
