Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy robust web applications, splitting your focus between Node.js/NestJS backend architecture and React frontend features.
- Actively utilize AI coding assistants to enhance productivity, code quality, and rapid prototyping.
- Write clean, testable code, contribute to system architecture, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security and performance.
- Collaborate effectively across teams in an agile environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in Node.js (backend) and strong proficiency in React (frontend), with excellent JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
- Fluency in using AI for coding (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc) with a deep understanding of how to use AI to augment their expertise while maintaining high code quality.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and database design (PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating project experience is highly valued.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on GCP, especially with serverless (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (GitHub Actions, Docker) and monitoring.
- Familiarity with LLM integrations and web scraping.
